We'd like to give a heartfelt Thank you to all the cook teams and the vendors. The winner of the BBQ Grill Main Street raffle was Wade Hutcheson of Griffon, Ga. Congratulations to Wade!

Also, we’d like to remind visitors to the website, the event is set for next year September 6 & 7th, 2013 at the Fort Valley Festival Park. During the year, the City and Main Street are working to include more bathroom and pavilion facilities in addition to a play area for children. Next year prize money and details will be finalized approximately April 2013.

Fort Valley Main Street is a non-profit organization dedicated to revitalizing Fort Valley's downtown area as the cultural, social, and shopping center of our community.

Georgia was one of six pilot states to begin a statewide program of downtown economic development in 1980 called Main Street.

Fort Valley became the state's 32nd Main Street City in 1991 when a number of dedicated local residents set a goal of restoring downtown as the center of community activity. This dream is becoming reality.
